Bringing Hope Home is dedicated to furnishing donated campers with brand-new items, carefully curated by A Designer’s Touch by Lauren and Team, to support vetted displaced families in Ashe, Watauga, and Avery Counties. The mission is to provide a fresh start and a sense of hope to families during challenging times.

This effort is coordinated through a network of base camp coordinators in each county. These coordinators identify families receiving donated campers, and the team connects directly with each family to introduce the program and its purpose. Every camper is outfitted with new bedding, kitchen essentials, towels, pillows, quilts, blankets, cookware, dishes, and decor, ensuring a welcoming and peaceful home environment.

To enhance the impact of this initiative, a partnership has been established with Ashe Food Pantry to provide essential food items to families receiving support. This collaboration ensures that families not only have a comfortable place to call home but also access to nourishing meals as they work toward stability.

A home serves as a nest and a haven, especially in times of transition. The goal is to bring hope, joy, and peace to families as they navigate this significant chapter in their lives.
