Identifying Client Needs and Building Relationships

Serving each client with dignity and respect is a standard that every client should experience. We will treat all clients fairly and equally at the Ashe Food Pantry, and when distributing goods to each household. We assure clients that their information is kept confidential.

Following are some ways we meet their individual needs

  • Provide food applications in English and Spanish
  • Assist with Food Stamp Applications (SNAP)
  • Health fairs
  • Flu shots
  • Cooking Matters classes
  • Food box items can be substituted to accommodate special dietary needs
  • Provide back to school supplies to students
  • Provide hygiene backpacks for Generations Ashe Pantry clients
  • Provide hygiene products for Operation Backpack
