The Ashe Mobile Pantry was established in 2015 to bring food directly to neighbors in areas where transportation can be a significant barrier. By taking food to the people we serve, we help ensure that access to nutritious groceries is not limited by distance or travel challenges. The Ashe Mobile Pantry operates multiple monthly distributions at various partner sites, providing consistent outreach to households who might otherwise struggle to reach traditional pantry services. Each distribution follows our healthy food guidelines, with every box designed to include a balanced selection of nutritious items. During these monthly distributions, Ashe Mobile Pantry serves approximately 1000 individuals.
